Loop Antenna #1

Loop Antenna is an active archival listening project. By bouncing sound data to and from the Loose Antenna broadcast server, allowing digital compression to degrade and decay the sound a little on every journey we leave the source unrecognisable.

Loop Antenna #1 explored the early archives of Loose Antenna. By feeding sounds from the archives and sounds from objects in the studio into the radio stream then tuning the radio in to listen again to itself Loop Antenna is a strange and reflective journey, a soundscape that decays with the radios own compression.
